About The Event
Join us for a day in the country!
The DeKalb County Barn Tour is a relaxing, self-guided tour full of history and unique stories of what life is like away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Spend time with history experts and learn about the families who lived and worked the farms on our tour. Many local barn owners will be on-site to share personal experiences, family lore, and fun facts about their barns and homes.
Your purchase today will reserve your ticket for the tour and includes a keepsake 2021 Barn Tour Guidebook. The Barn Tour Guidebook provides a field guide to barn structures, historic resources, a brief history of each location on the tour. In addition, each stop on the Barn Tour is beautifully illustrated by Illinois artist David Allen Badger.
If you would like to recieve your Barn Tour Guidebook before August 14th, 2021 please contact the DAAHA office at daaha.inc@gmail.com to arrange pick-up. Guidebooks will also be distributed at the start of the Barn Tour with proof of purchase (electronic ticket confirmation) at any barn location on the tour.

Family Barn Tour Ticket - $25
The purchase of this ticket provides entry for (1) car into the 2021 Barn Tour on August 14th, 2021 located in and around Sandwich, IL. A 2021 Barn Tour Guidebook for the self-guided tour will be distributed on the day of the Barn Tour or by contacting the DAAHA office at daaha.inc@gmail.com to arrange for pick-up.

The raffle items for this year's tour include: * Framed Pen and ink barn drawing by local artist Bob Myers. *24" x 24" barn quilt, hand painted by local artist Jean Klock. Choose from several designs and colors for a semi-custom look. *Collectable children's wooden barn toy for play or display, with a hinged roof for easy access to interior. The approximate size of the toy barn is 25.5 wide x 27 deep x 23.5 height.
