Summer is here, and this year’s DeKalb County Barn Tour is coming up fast. This year’s tour is in Sandwich & Somonauk Township in the southern part of DeKalb County, and will be held on Saturday, August 14th. In order to make this Barn Tour as successful as those in years past, we need your help.
Volunteers needed for Barn Tour 2021!
A wide variety of opportunities are available to volunteers willing to help with the Barn Tour to make it successful. All training is provided.

Information booth attendants will answer guest questions, provide directions and other information, and act as a greeter.

Ticket sales volunteers will handle money, sell tickets, and interact with visitors.

Parking assistants will direct traffic flow and organize parking at each barn location.

End of the day clean-up help is also needed.
Volunteers are invited to attend a free pre-tour of all seven barns the week before the event.
Hours are flexible to fit busy schedules. Volunteers can choose morning shifts from 8AM to noon, afternoon shifts from noon to 4PM, or both.
